Day 01 :

Delhi/Lucknow Arrival

Arrive at Lucknow and transfer to Hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Delhi arrival AC Coach Transfer to Lucknow followed by Hotel Check-in

Day 02 :

Drive to Nepalgunj

Early morning check-out from Lucknow start drive for around 4–5 hours in a private AC coach bus to Nepalgunj. Yatra briefing in the evening.Overnight stay at Nepalgunj.

Day 03 :

Nepalgunj- Simikot- Hilsa - Purang

Early morning, drive to the airport and catch the flight to Simikot. Rest for a few hours at Simikot, then fly to Hilsa by helicopter, wait for other group travellers, and then drive to Purang. Overnight stay at Hotel Purang or similar. It's a 40–50 minute flight from Nepalgunj to Simikot, and then a 20–25 minute helicopter ride from Simikot to Hilsa. In some cases, we stay at Simikot in the guest house for the 3rd night and then move to Purang on the 4th day. This helps in better stepwise acclimatization, and the decision depends on the weather and rushes there.

Day 04 :

Acclimatization at Purang

The entire day is free for acclimatization, and a short trek may be taken in preparation for Mount Kailash Parikrama. Overnight stay at Hotel Purang or similar. Purang is a small and very clean town with lots of shops on both sides of the road for shopping for necessary items for further Yatra. You can buy trekking sticks, water gallons for keeping Holy Mansarovar water, some packed juices, and other things. Some bargaining happens here at almost all shops. It's a pleasant experience to roam around Purang.

Day 05 :

Purang to Mansarovar Lake

Drive roughly 2 hours in an AC private vehicle to Mansarovar Lake and then complete the Parikrama of Mansarovar Lake. Complete the Holy Lake Parikrama of approx. 105 km, take a holy bath and perform puja at Divine Lake Mansarovar. While coming to Mansarovar Lake, you will witness Kailash for the very first time. It's an overwhelming experience to see Divine Mount Kailash, just next to Holy Lake Mansarovar, while taking a bath. After a short drive from Lake Mansarovar, you will reach Yamdwar. You get blessed with the darshan of the North Face of Mount Kailash today, which is considered to be most auspicious. After having darshan there, we come back to Purang and stay in Hotel New Purang or something similar.

Day 06 :

Mansarovar to Darchen

After a short drive from Lake Mansarovar, you will reach Darchen which is the base for Mount Kailash Parikrama & Ashtapad darshan. We will be visiting Asthapad only if we get permission from Chinese authorities. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 07 :

First Day Parikrama of Mount Kailash

On the first day of Parikrama of Mount Kailash, wake up early in the morning and drive to Yamdwar. After reaching Yamdwar start your Parikrama which is a 10Km trek. Feel blessed and get enlightened with the darshan of North Face of Mount Kailash which is a unique experience and also considered to most auspicious. Those who are not doing Parikrama will travel from Yamdwar to Darchen for approx. 30 minutes and stay there in Guest House for 2 nights. You can see & pray to Mount Kailash from Darchen. Important - Kailash Parikrama is optional. There are few who would be doing Parikrama by walk, few by horse & few old age people may not be doing Parikrama. Those who are not doing Parikrama will return from Yam Dwar to Guest House at Darchen. We will arrange meals & accommodation there. Holy Mount Kailash is easily visible from there & one can do puja from there too. People staying at Darchen will join other group members in 1st half once they complete 3rd day of Parikrama.

Day 08 :

Second Day Parikrama of Mount Kailash

Begin your second day of Parikrama from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass and then to Zuthulpuk early in the morning with a covering distance of 22Km trek. Keep in mind this is the most difficult part of the journey throughout the Kailash Yatra as you’ll be trekking up at a height of 18,600ft above sea level. From Dolma, LaPass descends to Gauri Kund and further treks along with the river to Zuthulpuk. Overnight stay – Lodge / Guest House. Also on the 2nd day, the first 6-7Km has a very steep climb & the most difficult part of Yatra (till Dolma La Pass at 5600m). Yatris are advised to take a comfortable time to cover it & take rest wherever you feel a problem. After 1st 6-7 KM, the remaining 16 KMs are comparatively plain / downwards & comfortable. Important: While performing Parikrama on day 2 you will pass through Shivasthal (A sacred place for Tibetans & believe that whatever you offer here, get it in Heaven) & Gauri Kund. After Dolma La Pass it’s a long pleasant trekking way beside the river. You will see the East face of Mount Kailash here.

Day 09 :

Drive to Purang

On the third and last day of Parikrama, Mount Kailash Parikrama trek is about 8 km and takes almost 3 Hrs to complete. Generally, we complete the Parikrama by 9:00-10:00 am. After completing Parikrama we will drive to Darchen and merge with other members of the tour who didn't go for Mount Kailash Parikrama and then drive to Dongba. Overnight stay in the Hotel (Xixa Panama, Mu being Chung or similar).

Day 10 :

Hilsa - Nepalgunj – Lucknow

Drive to Hilsa by AC luxury vehicle, fly back to Simikot by Helicopter then to Nepalgunj by flight & then drive to Lucknow. Proceed for your home destination with the blessings of Lord Shiva !! **Itineraries are subjected to change/modification in unavoidable circumstances.

Day 11 :

Lucknow - Delhi

Post breakfast off to Delhi via AC Coach bus/SUV according to the group Size.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

Fill up Kailash Yatra 2025 Booking Form, scan colored image of your passport
Pay the non-refundable registration amount in a corporate bank account or online and mention the transaction number on the registration form.
Attach a self-attested copy of identity proofs, like a valid Indian passport (Mandatory), and two photographs.
Email Registration Form, Scan Valid ID Proofs & Transaction Number on Email: info@tirathdhamyatra.com (cc accounts@ tirathdhamyatra.com) & courier originals self-attested copies to us on office address.
Send 1 month before the Yatra Date:
Original self-attested physical fitness certificate from any MBBS doctor, not more than 1 month old from the Yatra date. (Ask for a format from us.).
Carry the original passport (2nd option) during the yatra.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

It is our most important aim that you enjoy your yatra and that we earn your trust. However, we are not responsible for any cancellation due to any industrial disputes, Technical failure of any type of transport we use, loss of earnings, late arrivals or force majeure, any regulations by Tibetian or Chinese authories or any items beyond our control. After booking, if you wish to cancel your trip, you must notify Tirath Dham Yatra in writing. Once Tirath Dham Yatra receives your notice, cancellation will take effect subject to the following:
If cancellation takes place in between 45 – 150 days prior to your departure date, your full payment will be refund except the non- refundable deposit of USD 300 (For NRI / Foreign Passport holders) / INR 15000 (For Indian Passport holders).
If cancellation takes place in between 30-45 days prior to departure 75% of your payment will be refund except the non-refundable deposit of USD 300 (For NRI / Foreign Passport holders) / INR 15000 (For Indian Passport holders).
If cancellation takes place less than 30 days prior to departure due to client’s personal problems, all previously paid amount(s) will be forfeited.

What is the best time to go for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via helicopter?

The best time is from May to September, as the weather is stable with clear skies, making helicopter operations smoother.

How difficult is this yatra, and is it suitable for senior citizens?

This route is one of the easiest ways to visit Kailash Mansarovar since it reduces trekking by using helicopters. However, the Kailash Parikrama involves trekking at high altitudes, so those who cannot trek can stay at Darchen. Senior citizens and those with medical conditions should consult a doctor before traveling.
